Job Description
Bitstar is looking for a senior/Intermediate Hardware Engineer with 6+ years of experience in Hardware design to join our team to provide High Speed Board design and innovative solutions. To be successful in this role candidate needs to have an experience in HW Full cycle design and develop Hardware with FPGAs and SOC’s and Microcontrollers.
Responsibility
- Schematic Capture in various tools.
- Circuit analysis and debugging.
- Board Bring up and testing.
- Power Calculation, IO calculation, Component selection, Library creation.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams product management, Firmware, mechanical design, operations, sourcing and quality at various phases of development from requirements to production and deployment.
- Hardware team building and skill development.
- Collaborate with vendor / suppliers to develop custom solutions, identify alternate parts, and ensure timely and quality hardware production.
- Create timelines, execute and monitor day to day work from the team and report Management.
Requirements
- Hands on Experience and working knowledge of Circuit design and validation.
- Experience in Full Hardware development cycles with FPGA’s (Xilinx, Altera, Lattice), Sensors and camera, TI, NVIDIA Chipsets other IC’s and microcontrollers.
- High speed board design using PCIe, 10G, DDR4, DDR3, 1G, Camera Interfaces, ADC and DAC interfaces, LVDS interface.
- Ability and experience in effective use of Test and measuring Instruments like Multimeter, CRO, Spectrum Analyzer and Network Analyzers.
- Exposure to PCB Design experience (Managing PCB design).
- EMI/EMC testing experience for complete products, complete cycle of taking products to certification (FCC/CE/IC)
- Good writing skills in Design documents, proposals, time sheets etc.
- Able to work independently or in team with minimum mentoring.
