Job Description

Bitstar is looking for a senior Hardware Engineer/ Lead with 15 years of experience in Hardware design to join our team to provide High Speed Board design and innovative solutions. To be successful in this role candidate needs to have an experience in HW Full cycle design and develop Hardware with FPGAs and SOC’s and Microcontrollers.

Responsibility

• Lead a team of Hardware design engineers working on PCB design, schematics, mechanical and various electronic parts.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams product management, Firmware, mechanical design, operations, sourcing and quality at various phases of development from requirements to production and deployment.
• Hardware team building and skill development.
• Collaborate with vendor / suppliers to develop custom solutions, identify alternate parts, and ensure timely and quality hardware production.
• Provide technical proposals to customer and or gather detailed requirement from customer and provide quick and cost effective solutions, resource and budget estimation.
• Good writing skills in Design documents, proposals, time sheets etc.
• Create timelines, execute and monitor day to day work from the team and report Management.

Requirements

• Hands on Experience and working knowledge of Circuit design and validation.
• Experience in Full Hardware development cycles with FPGA’s (Xilinx, Altera, Lattice), Sensors and camera, TI, NVIDIA Chipsets other IC’s and microcontrollers.
• High speed board design using PCIe, 10G, DDR4, DDR3, 1G, Camera Interfaces, ADC and DAC interfaces, LVDS interface.
• Schematic Capture in various tools.
• Exposure to PCB Design experience (Managing PCB design).
• EMI/EMC testing experience for complete products, complete cycle of taking products to certification (FCC/CE/IC)
• Proven track of leading team, create timelines, track day to day activates and timely delivery of Hardware.
